Nancy Dennis

Senior Education Advisor

An accomplished leader with over 25 years of experience in general management, strategy, development, and marketing for both for-profit and non-profit organizations, Nancy Dennis brings a socially conscious perspective, significant operational experience, and strategic leadership to the Relevant Strategy Media Group.

Nancy started her business career as an analyst for Booz-Allen & Hamilton. After earning her MBA from Harvard Business School, Nancy embarked on a 15-year career with Kraft Foods where she held positions of increasing responsibility in marketing, strategy, and general management, delivering consistently strong results against ambitious goals and eventually serving as Senior Director, Strategy & Alliances for Kraft Foods North America. During this time, Nancy led a variety of Kraft’s businesses from the smallest to largest and developed a reputation as a leader adept at strategic turnarounds.

After her successful career in the private sector, Nancy followed her passion for ensuring all children have access to a high-quality education.  Since moving to the non-profit sector, Nancy has served as a key leader at Teach For America – Dallas-Fort Worth and Teaching Trust, providing strategic leadership and serving in senior development and fundraising roles.  At TFA-DFW, Nancy developed critical relationships with both school districts and Southern Methodist University while raising $30MM over 4 years.  At Teaching Trust, Nancy built out the first ever development organization, positioning this school leadership organization for growth in North Texas and beyond.

In addition to her professional experience, Nancy brings over 20 years as a steward for Carleton College where she played a key leadership role in developing Carleton’s Alumni Annual Fund into one of the most successful annual funds nationwide and served on the College’s Board of Trustees.

Originally from Minnesota, Nancy holds a B.A. from Carleton College and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.  Nancy currently lives in Dallas, Texas.
