Senior Digital Media Advisor
Fran Wills is a senior marketing and digital executive for media, technology and retail companies. Throughout her career, she has pioneered digital innovation and emerging technologies to successfully increase revenue and bottom line results.
Currently, Fran owns a consulting practice that helps companies develop marketing and digital strategies to accelerate growth and implement technology solutions to realize operational efficiencies.
Most recently, she served as Vice President/General Manager for Cox Media Group where she led digital and marketing strategy to generate over $100M in revenue and reduce operational costs across 20 markets. She also led Kudzu.com, a rating and review site for local SMB services, to achieved double-digit revenue growth during her tenure.
Previously, she served as CMO/SVP Interactive of two major metro media companies – The Dallas Morning News and The Denver Post. In Dallas, she led B2C and B2B marketing efforts and managed a $130M business unit including digital, auto, real estate, recruitment and classifieds. In Denver, she managed a $20M digital business unit and led marketing, product development and partnership programs including Google, Yahoo, Monster and Cars.com.
She has held marketing leadership roles with Gart Sports (Sports Authority) and May Department Stores (now Macy’s) and has a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri. She is married with three children and resides in Darien, GA.
